Meek Mill Artist Lil Snupe VS DeSean Jackson Artist Retro for $10k (Video)

Meek Mill Artist Lil Snupe Battles DeSean Jackson Artist Retro for $10k (Video) from RICK DANGE on Vimeo.

T.I had a listening party promoting his new album at Sigma Sounds (located in Philadelphia, Pa). There was many celebrity friends in attendance, especially the stars from Philly. Philly’s own Meek Mill was in attendance with his Dream Chaser Records artist and so was DeSean Jackson of the Eagles with his Jaccpot Entertainment artist. Somehow the two competitive spirited stars engaged in a friendly argument, which started up a rap battle. The battle was between Meek Mill’s Dream Chasers artist Lil Snupe (from Louisiana) against Eagles receiver DeSean Jackson‘s Jaccpot artist Retro (from West Philly). Meek Mill and DeSean put up $10,000 each on their artist. They left the decision in the hands of T.I., Eagles quarterback Michael Vick, Trae Tha Truth and T.I.’s cousin Rashad (who the movie ATL is based on). They all agreed to 5 rounds of rapping for the two artists. At the end, T.I. made it clear that it would be fairly judged, and if it was a split decision they could go another round. But, when all of the judges expressed why they chose Lil Snupe (Dream Chasers) the winner, DeSean Jackson stormed out the room. It’s funny to me because his poor sportsmanship shows on and off the field! But, anyway I thought this was cool to see two young up and coming Emcees go bar for bar to earn some bread. If you watch the video though, you can see who is more of the hungry battle rapper.
